Express Yourself : Communication in English

This course was introduced in 2009. The objective of this course is to provide a platform for the learner, specially the youth, students, young professionals and home-makers to develop confidence and improve Launguage Skills with equal emphasis on the four skills ‘LSRW’ (Learning, Speaking, Reading & Writing). It is a three month course. Role plays, presentations, value based quiz, general-awareness, discussions and interview skills are an integral part of the course.

(Value Education and Vocational Training for Youth)

Through the value education classes most students get to know Swami Vivekananda’s Ideas and inculcate good habits like discipline, meditation and book reading.  19 Vocational Training classes in Spoken English and Computer Training classes in D.C.A., Tally and D.T.P. are conducted. Students can select the course of their choice. These courses help in students getting good jobs as good communication skills in English and Computer knowledge are the need of the day.Value education classes for girl students commence at 6.30 am followed by their vocational classes. For the male students value education class is from 5.30pm which is followed by the vocational course.

Youth Convention

In connection with the National Youth Day celebtations, we have conducted Youth Convention. on the theme “Character is established through a thousand obstacles.” About 150 students from various colleges participated in the event.

National Youth Day Celebrations

National Youth Day was observed on 12.01.2018 and 12.01.2019. The Statue of Swami Vivekananda near Kambala Tank was garlanded by devotees and guests. Youth, Students, Devotees participated in this programme. Clothes were distributed to needy children.

Competitions to the Students

Essay, Elocution, Recitation, Drawing and Songs Competitions to school children from class 1 to 10 were conducted in connection with 125th Anniversary of Chicago Addresses – Celebrations.

About 19800 students from 148 schools participated in the preliminary round of the  competitions which were conducted in the respective schools. One candidate per event from each school was selected to participate in the finals conducted at Ramakrishna Mission, Vizag.
